We have experienced first hand what some consider a few negative things that would be viewed by "others" looking to move here, not a very good way to promote a city!

The slogans ."That's not the way we do things out here"...or..."That's just the way it is out here" are not really what people want to hear when they move here.
That's about as lame as someone in Dallas telling someone who has lived out here all their life..and moves to Dallas.."that's just not the way we do things here in Dallas " see?

here's a few,

you might have problems moving here if...

Your family's pet is murdered {shot}, and the sheriff [deputy] says..that's just the way it is out here.
or,
You called a Detective here {that told you to call "when" you have a problem}, and after 3 attempts {leaving a message} with no answer back...you decide you definitely now have more problems than you thought.
or

Someone complain's about noise in their neighborhood coming from "Boom" stereos and "modified" mufflers and the Asst. Director for the Emory Development Corporation writes them a letter and say's,get over it..that's just the way it is out here and that you have expected too much from us out here in the country...you might wonder where that info was on their

You go to get your mail but your mailbox has been bashed (3 times and counting) and you complain and the answer is "kids do that out here, that's just the way it is".
Well, you might want to go and read a story relating to the above points. When somebody in the Emory Development Corporation says "kids will be kids" and "that's just the way it is out here "... this story is one you might want to read.
