We are experiencing the {modified muffler Syndrome} now here in Emory, and when asked about a noise ordinance, we were told there is no noise ordinance here. So, we assume it's open season on how loud you can be {not a good real estate selling point}. Basically, doing this in a neighborhood is just like blowing smoke in a families face when they are out to enjoy a nice dinner, it simply means the persons doing it don't give a damn about their neighbors. Another point is, if potential buyers of property were looking for a quiet move to Emory Tx or Rains County...they may need to look elsewhere for a local government that cares enough about the rights of their citizens privacy. You will see several towns with "good" local governments that are taking care of their citizens ..unlike Emory or Rains County...here's 2 links to show who cares and who doesn't. here and here!.

Sooner or later, the local government will have to deal with this problem, they all are and will.

P.s. were quite sure the Eagles aren't real crazy about them either.
